Product Overview
Quality assurance is defined as the planned and systematic actions that provide adequate confidence that a diagnostic X-ray facility will produce high quality images on a consistent basis with minimum exposure to both the patients and personnel. The facility that produces images determines what constitute high quality. There are two quality assurance actions, one is the quality control procedure and the other is quality administration procedure. After completing this course, you will be able to: • articulate the necessity of quality control in radiology • explain the routine maintenance program for X-ray systems and • identify the quality control tests for radiographic equipment
